Warranty Information

LIMITED WARRANTY


1) The following is a list of states and provinces that do not allow limited warranty coverage on your Amana brand heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system or a component of that system to be conditioned on registration:

a. California (Effective for units installed on or after January 1, 2004);
b. Florida (Effective for units installed on or after July 1, 2024);
c. Georgia (Effective for units installed on or after January 1, 2026); and
d. Quebec (Effective for units installed on or after April 30, 1980).

2) The following is a list of states that require limited warranty coverage in effect on your Amana brand HVAC system or a component of that system to be transferred if the property containing that unit is conveyed to a new owner:

a. Florida (Effective for units installed on or after July 1, 2023);
b. Georgia (Effective for units installed on or after January 1, 2026); and
c. Texas (Effective for units installed on or after September 1, 2021).


NON-OWNER OCCUPIED RESIDENCE WARRANTY


1) For units installed at residential real property, the following is a list of states that do not allow warranty coverage on your Amana brand heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system or a component of that system to be conditioned on registration:

a. Florida (Effective for units installed on or after July 1, 2024); and
b. Georgia (Effective for units installed on or after January 1, 2026).

2) For units installed at residential real property, the following is a list of states that require warranty coverage in effect on your Amana brand HVAC system or a component of that system to be transferred if the property containing that unit is conveyed to a new owner:

a. Florida (Effective for units installed on or after July 1, 2023);
b. Georgia (Effective for units installed on or after January 1, 2026); and
c. Texas (Effective for units installed on or after September 1, 2021).
